📊 Nutrition Highlights:

  • Caffeine-free
  • Calming Flavonoids (Apigenin, Linalool)

🛒 Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp dried chamomile flowers (or 1 chamomile tea bag)
  • ½ tsp dried culinary lavender buds (Lavandula angustifolia)
  • 1 cup hot water (just below boiling)
  • Optional sweetener: 1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (especially soothing for bedtime)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Boil Water
Heat 1 cup of water until just before boiling — about 90–95°C (195–203°F).
  2. Prepare the Herbs
Place chamomile and lavender into a tea infuser, tea bag, or directly into your cup.
  3. Steep Gently
Pour hot water over the herbs and cover. Let steep for 5–7 minutes to extract full flavor and benefits.
  4. Strain & Sweeten
Remove the herbs or strain the tea. Add sweetener if desired — raw honey also supports blood sugar stability at night.
  5. Relax & Sip
Drink slowly in a calm environment, preferably 30–60 minutes before bed.

💡 Tips & Notes:

  • Do not over-steep lavender — too long can make the tea bitter. 5 minutes is ideal.
  • Add lemon balm or passionflower for extra calming benefits.
  • Chamomile caution: Avoid if allergic to ragweed or other daisies.
  • Store dried herbs in a cool, dark place in airtight containers for freshness.
