Taekwondo Follow Along Class – White Belt – Class #3

Blog Post:

Welcome back, warriors! 👊🔥
This is our third White Belt Follow Along Class, and by now you should already feel more confident in your stances, punches, and kicks. In this session, we’ll keep sharpening the fundamentals while adding new drills to build strength, coordination, and flow. Remember: great martial artists aren’t made by fancy techniques, but by mastering the basics.💯

Here’s what we’ll focus on today:

✅ Reinforcing Stances — We’ll combine Front Stance ↔ Horse Stance transitions to train balance and quick footwork. Think of it as building the roots of your Taekwondo tree 🌳—the deeper and stronger they are, the more powerful every move becomes.

✅ Combination Drills — Not just single punches or kicks anymore! We’ll start linking them together:

  • Step-in Punch → Front Kick
  • Low Block → Counter Punch
  • Double Jab → Roundhouse Kick
These combos teach you rhythm, timing, and how offense and defense flow together. 🎶🥊🦵

✅ Strength & Conditioning — A martial artist’s body is their weapon. In this class, I’ll guide you through:

  • Core strengthening (planks & sit-ups for kick power)
  • Leg endurance (squat holds in Horse Stance)
  • Explosive push-ups for punching speed 💪⚡

✅ Breathing & Focus Training — Every strike becomes sharper when you control your breath. We’ll practice exhaling with each movement to release power and calm the mind. 🧘‍♂️

👉 By the end of this session, you’ll feel your movements becoming smoother, your balance stronger, and your energy more explosive. Remember: consistency is your greatest weapon. Train with discipline, and soon even the basics will feel like second nature.

Put on your dobok, tie your belt tight, and let’s get to work! 🥋🔥

See you in Class #3 — stronger, sharper, and one step closer to black belt excellence. 🌟
